it's already our 3rd time going Hongkong, but i'm still pretty excited! it's always nice to go overseas to relax and shop like crazy. hahaha

then it was dinner time, and we had steamboat! but i was too shy to take photos of the spread, lol. luckily, we had steamboat for a second time!

woke up late on the second day (we actually woke up early for the remainder of the trip) to have wanton mee for lunch! it's a shop we always visit each time we come hongkong. the noodles and wanton are both nice! though i dun like the 鲮鱼球 inside.
then it was time to start my mad shopping spree. we went granville, nathan, cameron and mongkok centre. and the result was that i spent a lot, nearly went broke.=p dinner was at spaghetti house, which is like the pastamania of hongkong, except that the food is more expensive but much much nicer!

took the tram to kennedy town for our dinner, where i ate roast goose, yumyum! but again, too shy to take photos. ahaha maybe next time!

headed to taikoo 太古 cityplaza on day 4, where our main aim was to hit the UNIQLO store.

we spent about 3 hours in just one shop, and then walked about for a while more before going to causeway bay 铜锣湾 to have our tea break- Krispy Kreme! =)

then we went langham place, just cause it's raining and we have nowhere to run! we didn't even buy anything there, and just took lots of photos.

we had instant noodles, black pepper chicken leg and sushi for dinner. bought them at the convenience store and brought them back to our hotel to enjoy. quite sumptuous! but the only photo of our dinner is this stain i accidentally caused on the room carpet.

on day 5 we headed to macau!! quite excited that i keep taking photos, though we spent only about 8 hours there. haha

we engaged a tour guide to save us the trouble of driving around macau, and he first dropped us off for lunch. the first three photos below are the portugese tarts 葡挞 and the pork chop bun 猪扒包, the famous foods of macau. and they're really nice! the rest are the the different things we tried for lunch.

some of the sights of macau, there are casinos everywhere, and they look so grand!

how could we miss the ruins of St. Paul's? it's like the symbol of Macau, die die cannot miss. i want take wedding photos there! but i need crowd control and weather control la. haha

and of course, we couldn't miss checking out the venetian. it was so opulent, it's the only word i think describes it well. the whole interior was just golden and brightly lit. chandeliers, faux street scenery of europe, a canal for the gondolas etc..wow

didn't gamble at the casino, just went in to watch people play. then it was time to return to hongkong for our steamboat dinner. we finished dinner at 11pm, so we had a hard time sleeping on such a full stomach. but we needed to wake up early the next day to go tungchung 东涌 to check out the factory outlets.
in the end, the only things we bought were these 3 cakes.

so we took the long journey back to mongkok and just walked around the area and then headed to 女人街 for dinner. as it was raining, and we thought we were rich (aka mad), we tried a japanese restaurant set meal for 2. thank god it didn't disappoint =)

on our last day, we had to leave for the airport at 12noon, so we woke up early to eat the hotel buffet breakfast. and then rushed to do some last minute shopping to get some polo tees for my dad and bro.
